She sighed deeply.
« I would have loved you in that little house. »
Tears filled his eyes.

He nodded immediately.

She smiled softly.

Then she reached for his hand.

Fresh paint covered the cracked walls. A new roof replaced the rusted zinc sheets. The broken fence had been repaired.
Inside, the space had been transformed into a community center where children could read, study, and receive free tutoring after school.
